This position requires the candidate to work as part of a team of professionals to independently analyze complex problems and develop workable solutions. The candidate will achieve significant interaction and visibility with clients.\n\nESSENTIAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE\nBA/BS degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, computer science, data analytics, economics, finance, business or related field, with an Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society. This position requires 4+ years of actuarial experience in the property & casualty industry, with a preference for prior actuarial consulting experience.\n\nSKILLS/COMPETENCIES REQUIREMENTS\n\nAssociate or Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society (ACAS or FCAS ).\n\n4+ years of actuarial experience in the property & casualty industry, with a preference for prior actuarial consulting experience.\n\nStrong organizational skills with an ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a supportive work environment.\n\nExcellent interpersonal skills; strong oral and written communications skills.\n\nAbility to develop client-oriented solutions.\n\nAbility to manage a heavy work volume and meet deadlines in an extremely fast paced environment.\n\nAbility to undertake projects and produce quality and timely results.\n\nSelf-starter, strong initiative, confidence and ability to work with little guidance.\n\nCollaborative team player.\n\nProficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.\n\nAlteryx, R, Python or related program coding experience is preferred; an aptitude to learn other software packages as needed.\n\nOccasional International Travel.\n\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\n\nComplete loss reserving, pricing, and data analytics projects for a variety of commercial property and casualty lines of business.\n\nOrganize and analyze large volumes of data, ensuring integrity and accuracy.\n\nSetup and/or oversee spreadsheet analysis, templates, and exhibits.\n\nApply complex actuarial theories and principles to create statistical models.\n\nPrepare and/or oversee production exhibits and written reports to present findings.\n\nAssist in the preparation of proposals and presentations for stakeholders.\n\nEqual Opportunity Employer\n\nThis employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
