You will join a dynamic and growing team that is responsible for responding to security incidents, gathering intelligence, and developing reports for upper management. If you are interested in security or incident/emergency responsiveness and consider yourself to be a critical thinker with good communication skills, then this job is for you!\nPrimary Responsibilities\nSupports the Operations Managers in ensuring execution of security procedures, responses at all posts.\nEnsures effective response to emergency and non-emergency situations, timely completion of reports and other requirements as directed by the SOC Manager.\nEmploy the use of various systems software, security and communications equipment.\nNotifies and communicates with the Operations Managers and other senior personnel as required to ensure a common operating picture of the area of operations.\nMonitor security applications and triage alerts, escalating where appropriate.\nInvestigate and resolve incidents to contain and remove security threats as safely and quickly as possible.\nCreate and continue to develop cases using threat intelligence information and lessons learned as a result of any incidents and alerts.\nUnderstand operational KPIs and ability to utilize data to assist SOC Manager to drive operations.\nQualifications\nPreferred candidate has either an honorable military discharge, an AA degree, or 1 year of experience in a center/security dispatch environment. Understanding of security operations & FEMA ICS/Watch officer training a plus.\nStrong interpersonal, organizational and time management skills.\nDemonstrated interest in Security and law enforcement work preferred.\nComfortable in an ever changing, fast paced, sometimes stressful environment.\nTechnologically savvy - experienced with MS Office Suite.\nMust possess strong written and verbal communication skills.\nCustomer Service orientation a plus.\nComfortable in a corporate environment and effectively communicate with Senior Management.\nMust be flexible and possess the ability to meet deadlines in a high tempo environment.\nA dependable Team player with maturity, that participates in problem solving with enthusiasm and a positive attitude.\nCan independently develop reports, spreadsheets, diagrams, charts, graphs, and other products that may be needed (i.e., Word, Excel, Access, SharePoint, etc.)\nJob Type: Full-time\nPay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour\nBenefits:\n401(k)\nDental insurance\nHealth insurance\nPaid time off\nVision insurance\nSchedule:\n8 hour shift\nEvening shift\nWeekends as needed\nApplication Question(s):\nThis position is open for swing shift and will require you to work a combination of weekdays and weekend days for a total of 5 days a week.
