Job Title: Senior Manager, Partner SuccessLocation: Remote (Texas or West Coast preferred)Department: Partner Success Reports To: Vice President, Partner SuccessAbout Acadeum:Acadeum helps 500+ colleges and universities create course-sharing partnerships with like-minded institutions to boost student progress, promote curricular innovation and operational efficiencies, and support institutional success. Acadeum’s Course Share platform aggregates available seats in online courses and manages cross registration, securely and seamlessly sharing data and dollars between participating institutions.Job Summary: The Senior Manager, Partner Success will be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of 50+ partner accounts, driving account performance, and identifying opportunities for growth and upselling. This role requires a deep understanding of the higher education landscape, strong relationship-building skills, and a focus on driving results.Responsibilities:Account Management and PerformancePortfolio Management: Oversee a portfolio of 50+ partner accounts, segmented by factors such as institution size, type, and revenue potential.Performance Optimization:Develop and execute account plans to achieve revenue targets and identify opportunities for growth and expansion within each account.Proactively monitor and analyze partner performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.Collaborate with partners to set and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) related to course offerings, student enrollment, and overall program success.Relationship Building: Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders at partner institutions.Upselling and Cross-Selling: Identify and pursue opportunities to expand partnerships through upselling additional services or cross-selling complementary products.Metric Achievement: Meet or exceed established metrics for enrollment, revenue growth, and partner satisfaction.Strategic Outreach and CommunicationStrategic Communication:Develop and implement a proactive communication strategy to maintain regular contact with partners, share updates, and address their needs.Utilize a variety of communication channels, including email, phone, video conferencing, and in-person meetings (when feasible).Respond to partner inquiries and requests in a timely and professional manner.Opportunity Identification:Conduct regular needs assessments and market research to identify emerging trends and opportunities for program development and expansion.Proactively propose new course-sharing partnerships and initiatives to partners based on their identified needs and strategic goals.Partner Enablement:Provide ongoing training and support to partners on how to effectively utilize Acadeum's platform and tools.Develop and share best practices for course sharing, student onboarding, and program administration.Assist partners in navigating the complexities of cross-registration, credit transfer, and data exchange.Value Communication:Develop and share compelling case studies and success stories that highlight the value and impact of Acadeum's course-sharing partnerships.Equip partners with the tools and resources they need to effectively communicate the benefits of the program to their internal stakeholders and students.Process Improvement and CollaborationProcess Optimization:Continuously evaluate and refine internal processes and workflows to improve efficiency and effectiveness.Identify and implement technology solutions to automate tasks and streamline communication.Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of processes and procedures.Cross-Functional Collaboration:Collaborate effectively with the AVP of Partner Success and other departments to deliver exceptional partner experiences and achieve company objectivesParticipate in cross-functional meetings and initiatives to share insights, align strategies, and drive innovation.Additional Responsibilities: Undertake other duties as assigned by management.Requirements/Competencies:Bachelor's degreeMinimum of 1 year of experience in the Higher Education Industry or Account ManagementMinimum of 3 years of Sales or Business Development experienceExcellent communication, presentation, and influencing skillsStrong organizational and project management skillsCustomer-facing experience in a Sales or Account Management roleResults-oriented mindset; ability to make timely and impactful decisionsStrong understanding of business and operational processesAbility to manage and measure necessary activity to drive resultsAgility and the ability to succeed in a fast-paced, complex organization using both sales and account management skillsAbility to effectively communicate to a broad range of constituents at educational institutions.Familiarity with transfer credit, higher education operating/business models, and online program management (OPM) strategies and models.Previous experience in a startup environment preferredMS Office and G-Suite experience preferredHubSpot experience a plusBenefits:Comprehensive insurance options including medical, dental and visionOutcomes-focused work from home policyUnlimited vacationIncredibly talented & mission-driven teammatesEngaging work that is making a difference in the landscape of higher education and the students who call it home.Paid Parental LeaveAcadeum is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity in the organization.
