{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"1106104fecee41db31a2d2ea","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/1106104fecee41db31a2d2ea","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/1106104fecee41db31a2d2ea","title":"Field Engineer","description":"Position Description\nAssigned to a field operations team to assist in obtaining, evaluating and coordinating information needed to construct the project in accordance with contract documents and to assure work meets all safety standards, is within schedule requirements, and is constructed to the highest level of quality possible.\n\nReports to: Project Superintendent or Superintendents\n\nPerform line and grade work for building layout and control as required.\n\nAssist in implementation of site safety program as required.\n\nEnsure subcontractor compliance with Turner safety standards and applicable safety codes and regulations.\n\nAssist in maintenance of contract documents and electronic web-based documents for field operations.\n\nAssist in preparation of Daily Construction Reports (DCR’s).\n\nReview work as it is being placed to be sure it is accurate within accepted tolerances.\n\nReview contract drawings, specifications, and shop drawings to ensure proper coordination and installation.\n\nAssist in preparation of project as-builts.\n\nAssist in protection and promotion of interests of Turner and in related matters.\n\nOther activities, duties, and responsibilities as assigned.\n\nQualifications\n\nTwo years of college education from accredited degree program in Engineering, Construction or relevant education.\n\nBuilding construction, engineering, or equivalent experience, preferred.\n\nMust have good interpersonal skills and ability to work within a team.\n\nDemonstrate initiative and desire to learn.\n\nAbility to communicate well both verbally and in writing.\n\nProficient with computer applications, data entry, and Microsoft suite of applications.\n\nBasic understanding of scheduling programs, desired.\n\nPhysical Demands\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
