This critical role will manage all aspects of assigned programs and customer relationships, including planning and execution, proposals, on time delivery, budget, product compliance, SOW management and New Product Launch phase gate process adherence, bringing digital night vision camera technologies and products to defense and commercial markets. This position requires a strategic thinker with exceptional leadership, organizational and communication skills to drive innovation and ensure successful product launches.\nThis individual contributor position reports to the Director, New Product Development.\nTo learn more about EOTECH Edge Vision Systems, please visit EOTECH Edge Vision Systems.\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS\nCustomer Engagement:\nServe as the primary point of contact for external and internal customers, fostering strong relationships and ensuring their needs are integrated into product development activities.\nGather and analyze customer feedback to guide program priorities, and product design and functionality.\nRegularly communicate program updates, technical solutions, and progress reports to customers and key internal stakeholders.\nSecondary Objective, on non-interference basis, to routinely assess a broader scope of the customer’s organizational hierarchy for decision making and alternate vehicle platforms or programs for new business opportunities.\nGenerate periodic, sometimes government TINA compliant, proposals in response to customer RFPs to address program requirements, overruns, or changes in scope.\nProgram Leadership:\nManage end-to-end technology and product development programs, from concept to commercialization, ensuring alignment with company goals and market demands.\nCoordinate and lead execution of cross-functional teams, including R&D, engineering, operations, quality, supply chain, and finance.\nDevelop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, budgets and risk mitigation strategies.\nNew Product Development (NPD):\nLead the NPD process, ensuring adherence to stage-gate methodologies and quality standards.\nDefine product specifications, performance metrics, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.\nOversee product launches, ensuring seamless transitions from development to production.\nStakeholder Management:\nCommunicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.\nResolve conflicts, address challenges, and maintain a collaborative environment.\nWORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL DEMANDS\nThis is an on-site position in Santa Clara, CA. Remote work is not possible for this role.\nOur office has a 9/80 work schedule, Monday through Friday.\nMust be willing to travel both domestically and internationally, up to 20% of the time.\nOvertime work may be required, as assigned.
