This will include all ALERTWest camera projects within our network or for other networks that have requested installation/maintenance. You will oversee Project Coordinators and be responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. This role demands strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, as you'll work closely with clients, internal teams, and vendors to meet project requirements and deliverables.\nAdditional information:\nThis position is a full-time position on-site at our office in Chico, CA.\nA typical work week is 8 hours daily Monday through Friday but may require overtime or off schedule hours.\nMust be able to work in a group setting or in an office independently.\nMost work will be in an office setting, with work to be performed outside in the elements, including site visits and meetings.\nMinimum Essential Duties and Responsibilities\nNote: This job description may not cover every task and duty expected of the employee. In fulfilling the responsibilities outlined herein, employees may be required to undertake additional tasks related to or naturally associated with their role, or to perform duties of a lower-level nature as needed.\nProject Leadership:\nOversee the planning, execution, and finalization of projects according to strict deadlines and budgets.\nManage multiple projects simultaneously, from initiation to completion, ensuring they align with company goals and objectives.\nDefine project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.\nMonitor and track the progress of projects, ensuring milestones are met, and projects are delivered on schedule.\nEnsure proper resource allocation and address potential issues to prevent project delays.\nTeam Management:\nLead, mentor, and supervise Project Coordinators and other project team members.\nDelegate tasks and responsibilities to Project Coordinators and ensure they are on track with their deliverables.\nProvide ongoing feedback, coaching, and support to develop the skills and performance of the team.\nFoster collaboration and communication between team members and departments.\nTelcom Knowledge:\nStrong understanding of telecom network practices.\nAdvanced understanding of electronic theory and practices.\nAdvanced understanding of construction drawings and code.\nStakeholder Engagement:\nServe as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication of project goals, progress, and challenges.\nDevelop strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are understood and met.\nRegularly update stakeholders on project status, risks, and necessary adjustments.\nDocumentation and Reporting:\nEnsure comprehensive project documentation is maintained, including project plans, schedules, budgets, and status reports.\nPrepare detailed project reports for senior management, identifying successes, issues, and areas for improvement.\nOversee project risk management, identifying potential challenges early and implementing solutions to mitigate risks.\nBudget and Cost Control:\nManage project budgets, tracking project costs and expenditures to ensure projects stay within budgetary constraints.\nApprove and monitor vendor contracts and expenses related to project activities.\nIdentify opportunities to reduce project costs without compromising quality or scope.\nPrepare and submit vendor invoices.\nQuality Assurance:\nEnsure that all projects adhere to company quality standards and industry best practices.\nConduct regular evaluations of ongoing projects to ensure compliance with performance standards and specifications.\nImplement corrective measures where necessary to address any project shortcomings.\nMinimum Requirements:\nEducation:\nFour-year degree in a relevant discipline such as Project Management, Business, or a technical field; or demonstrable project management skills acquired through professional experience.\nSkills:\nStrong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide project teams.\nExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interface with clients, vendors, and senior management.\nProficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, Trello).\nExceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.\nStrong problem-solving abilities, capable of handling high-pressure situations.\nKnowledge of internet infrastructure, telecom, and construction is highly desirable.\nWorking Conditions:\nTravel: Occasional travel may be required to project sites.\nWork Environment: Primarily office-based with some fieldwork required.\nPhysical Requirements:\nAbility to sit for extended periods.\nConsistent adherence to a 40-hour work schedule is necessary.\nOccasional physical tasks may include stooping, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds.\nAbility to navigate various departments within the organization's facilities.\nDigital Path offers a comprehensive benefits program to all eligible employees.
