The GIS program operates with oneemployee dedicated to oversight and execution of all GIS functions.Theprimary role of the GIS Program Manager is to maintain the geospatialdatabase in the City of McCall, its constituent software and hardwarecomponents, and to perform spatial analyses as needed to supportdecision-makers within the City. GIS services include printed mapproduction, the development and publication of on-line maps and apps,and in-field data collection. The GIS Manager provides technicalexpertise and supervision for the Citys GIS implementation and itsday-to-day operation. The GIS Program Manager is also the Addressing andRoad Name Coordinator for the City of McCall. The GIS Program Managerworks under the general supervision of the Community and EconomicDevelopment Director, although considerable leeway is granted forindependent decision making. The GIS Program Manager may at times directthe work of one seasonal GIS Technician but will generally carry out allfunctions of the program individually.**Acceptable Experience and Training** A minimum of 5+ years as a GIS Analyst, GIS Coordinator, or similarposition with professional-level experience in the design,development, implementation, and administration of geographicinformation systems, including analysis and database development andintegration; and Bachelors or Masters degree in Geographic Information Systems orrelated field; and A GISP Certification is desirable; or Any equivalent combination of experience and certification whichprovides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work.**Special Qualifications** Valid drivers license ESRI Enterprise Software experience required. **Compensation and Benefits:**The compensation range for thisopportunity is \\$35.86 to \\$51.29 perhour with a mid-point of \\$41.70;the anticipated hiring range is from\\$35.86to \\$37.95 per hour and will be dependent upon the qualificationsand experience of the selected applicant.
