highly visible, hands-on leadership role that will work closely with the CEO and broader leadership team while overseeing a small accounting team.The Controller will own the company’s core accounting and financial reporting activities while also playing a broader role in financial analysis, planning, business operations, and decision support.This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys getting into the details but also wants to understand the business, interpret financial results, and help leadership make informed decisions.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the company’s accounting and financial reporting functionsManage month-end and year-end close processes and ensure accurate and timely financial statementsOversee day-to-day accounting operations, including AP, AR, reconciliations, payroll, and commissionsManage cash flow reporting and support annual budgeting and quarterly forecastingPerform variance analysis and communicate the key drivers behind financial performanceCoordinate internal and external audit activitiesMaintain appropriate internal controls, accounting policies, and GAAP complianceLead and develop a small accounting teamPartner cross-functionally to resolve accounting and financial issues and support business initiativesIdentify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, accuracy, and scalability within FinanceProvide increasingly broader financial analysis and decision support to the CEO and leadership teamQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldStrong GAAP and technical accounting foundationPrior experience in a financial leadership or accounting management roleExperience within consumer products, apparel, retail, e-commerce, and/or wholesaleExperience leading and developing accounting team membersAbility to operate as a hands-on Controller and personally work through accounting issues when neededStrong financial reporting, variance analysis, and problem-solving skillsAbility to translate financial results into meaningful business insightsStrong communication skills with the ability to partner across departmentsNetSuite experience strongly
