They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.\nWhat You’ll Do:\nPerform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.\nPerform routine preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on the facilities fire doors and other fire life safety systems to ensure optimal functionality and compliance.\nSpecialize in the inspection, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of facility fire and life safety doors in accordance with NFPA 80 standards.\nConduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.\nAssist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.\nReview assigned work orders and partner with available systems to track completion.\nSupport energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently.\nInspect existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.\nUse existing procedures to solve straightforward problems. Exchange straightforward information in a clear, concise manner.\nImpact team through defined duties, methods and tasks as described in detail.\nDeliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.\nWhat You’ll Need:\nHigh School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.\nMeet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.\nAbility to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.\nCommunication skills to exchange straightforward information.\nWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.\nStrong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.\nApplicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
