Mesilla Valley Transportation is hiring System Installation Technician in Laredo, TX!/strong/ppstrongJob Summary/strong/ppThe System Installation Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting tracking devices, cameras, and Electronic Logging Devices (ELDs) on trucks and trailers, as well as servicing tire pressure systems and related components. The role also includes updating truck parameters, conducting repairs, and documenting all work in maintenance software./ppstrongEssential Duties and Responsibilities/strong/pp Install cameras, tablets, and tracking devices on trucks/trailers./pp Remove and replace damaged GPS trackers./pp Conduct inspections and maintain the tire pressure system in trucks./pp Check and adjust pressure system boxes on trailers, including replacing pressure system lights as needed./pp Install and uninstall test products as required./pp Conduct repairs on wheel covers./pp Install Electronic Logging Device (ELD) on new units and addresses damaged or faulty parts./pp Adjust and/or update truck parameters using Cummins Power Spec and OE software./pp Document repairs in maintenance software accurately and effectively./pp Troubleshoot tracking devices to ensure proper functionality./ppstrongOther Duties/strong/ppPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
