Manufacturing Technician I
Job Summary
Responsible for processing and packaging of manufactured goods while adhering to manufacturing procedures and safety policies. This person will maintain the required records of production. Reports any inconsistencies or equipment issues following standard procedures. The Manufacturing Technician works in close collaboration with other members of the manufacturing team and other departments to ensure a consistently high level of quality and productivity. The area of responsibility for this role is very wide and thus requires thorough knowledge of various company processes. Additional responsibilities may be required from time to time such as cycle counting inventory, fulfillment of customer orders, special projects and more.
Responsibilities
Perform daily manufacturing activities per the production schedule.
Set up and operate production equipment in accordance with current standard operation procedures.
Ensure attention to detail that quality products are produced daily while minimizing scrap.
Maintain accurate production records through company documents and procedures.
Participate in picking, packing and shipping of customer orders
Assist with other tasks such as inventory management, special projects and more.
Perform and ensure cleanup and preventative maintenance SOPs are executed daily.
Coordinate with other support departments in the execution of production and shipping objectives and goals.
Follow and execute daily directions given by manager, accurately and thoroughly.
Ensure full operational compliance with all site procedures and applicable regulations.
Ensure safety, health and environmental compliance is included as part of everyday activities.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Experience
High School Diploma or GED, required.
1 Year of experience in a manufacturing environment required
Warehouse experience is a plus.
ISO9001 and/or ISO13485 Quality Management System knowledge is a plus.
Must be able to operate a computer and its programs independently without help
Proficient with business software (Microsoft Office & Excel)
Job Requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
Must be able to push up to 400 pounds with the use of a support device (pallet jacks).
Must be able to stand for prolonged periods, reach overhead, twist and bend at the waist.
Must be able to wear PPE for hours at a time (mask, gloves, hairnet, safety glasses and lab coat)

Monday - Friday
The regular work schedule is from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM; however, additional or different hours may be required based on operational needs.
Pay
Starting pay starts at $23.00/hour with yearly merit increases based on performance
