As a Machine Operator, you will operate and monitor production equipment to ensure products are manufactured according to quality and production standards.\n\nThis is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in producing quality products, and is eager to grow their skills in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\n\n*Essential Duties and Responsibilities*\n\n* Set up, operate, and monitor production machinery and equipment according to established procedures and specifications.\n* Operate equipment that may include CNC machines, milling machines, lathes, press brakes, stamping presses, flexographic presses, and other production machinery.\n* Read and interpret work instructions, blueprints, technical drawings, and other production documentation.\n* Use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and other precision instruments to verify product dimensions and quality.\n* Perform routine equipment maintenance and report mechanical or operational issues to the appropriate supervisor or maintenance personnel.\n* Conduct quality inspections throughout the manufacturing process and identify defects or deviations from specifications.\n* Make basic machine adjustments and tooling changes as needed to support production requirements.\n* Safely handle raw materials and finished products.\n* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.\n* Follow all company safety procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), machinery safeguards, and hand tools.\n* Assist with assembly, packaging, material handling, and other production activities as needed.\n* Meet production, quality, and efficiency expectations while maintaining a strong focus on safety.\n* Perform other duties as assigned.\n\n*Qualifications and Experience*\n\n* Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, factory, or machine operation environment is preferred.\n* Experience operating CNC or other manufacturing equipment is a plus.\n* Mechanical aptitude and the ability to understand and follow technical instructions.\n* Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions.\n* Experience using measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers preferred.\n* CNC troubleshooting and programmable logic controller (PLC) experience are a plus.\n* Basic math skills and the ability to perform measurements and calculations.\n* Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.\n* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\n* Strong teamwork, reliability, and communication skills.\n* Commitment to following all safety policies and procedures.\n\n*Why Join D&W, Inc.*\n\nAt D&W, Inc., we value our employees and believe in creating opportunities for growth and success.
