In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing data quality and reconciliation solutions that ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of data across our organization. You will leverage your Java expertise to develop and integrate data quality and reconciliation frameworks into our existing systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, data-driven solutions.Key Responsibilities:Solution Architecture: Lead the design and architecture of comprehensive data quality and reconciliation solutions that integrate seamlessly with our existing Java-based systems. Ensure these solutions address key data quality dimensions such as accuracy, completeness, consistency, and timeliness.Java Development: Utilize your Java development skills to build and customize data quality and reconciliation frameworks, tools, and applications. Ensure that these solutions are efficient, scalable, and maintainable.Data Quality Integration: Work closely with data engineering teams to implement data quality checks and reconciliation processes within Java applications, ETL processes, and data pipelines. Ensure that data quality and reconciliation controls are embedded throughout the data lifecycle.Data Profiling, Cleansing, and Reconciliation: Design and implement data profiling, cleansing, validation, and reconciliation processes to identify and resolve data quality issues. Utilize Java-based tools and libraries, as well as specialized data quality and reconciliation tools, to automate these processes.Data Governance: Establish data quality standards, policies, and governance frameworks. Ensure that data quality practices, including reconciliation processes, are aligned with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.Collaboration: Partner with data architects, data engineers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data quality and reconciliation requirements and translate them into technical specifications.Performance Tuning: Optimize data quality and reconciliation processes, as well as Java applications, for performance, particularly in high-volume or real-time data environments. Identify and resolve any bottlenecks or inefficiencies.Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation for all data quality and reconciliation architectures, frameworks, and processes. Ensure that documentation is accessible and understandable for both technical and non-technical audiences.Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers and data engineers, helping them to understand and implement data quality and reconciliation best practices.Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in data quality and reconciliation tools, Java technologies, and industry best practices.
