The successful candidate will play a vital role in reviewing editorial corrections and responses to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with project guidelines, timelines, and budgets.\nThis position involves carefully evaluating changes to educational manuscripts throughout the development cycle, enhancing overall content clarity and instructional value. The Editor/Proofer will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in a dynamic work environment to ensure all materials meet divisional standards of quality and accuracy.\nKey Responsibilities:\n● Ensure changes align with project schedules, budgets, and content quality standards.\n● Support content development by reviewing and improving manuscripts through multiple revision cycles.\n● Track and verify revisions to ensure consistency and compliance with internal policies and editorial guidelines.\n● Collaborate with team members to maintain efficient workflows and resolve content-related issues.\n● Perform special projects as assigned, which may include work outside normal business hours and travel, as required.\nQualifications:\nEducation/Certification\n● Bachelor degree (B.A. or B.S.) from an accredited Four-Year College or University\npreferred.\nExperience\n●Must have 1+ years of experience in layout and design of curriculum courses.\nRequired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):\n●Excellent verbal and written communication skills.\n●Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.\n●Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships in a collaborative team setting.\n●Proficiency in Google Tools (Drive, Doc, Sheet, Gmail, etc).\nPreferred KSAs:\n●Ability to develop creative solutions for instructional and editorial challenges.\n● Familiarity with the educational publishing industry.\n● Awareness of emerging trends in web-based instruction and digital curriculum tools.\nThis role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about educational content, thrive in collaborative environments, and take pride in maintaining high editorial standards.
