Under this contract, ARES and its partners provide engineering and technical services, program and business management support services and administrative support services to the EGS Program.\n\nPosition Summary: Onsite administration of the Cradle system and development and maintenance of various web applications and/or SharePoint Online sites.\n\nJob Description\n\nCradle Admin Functional Responsibilities (Higher priority task)\n\nManage the Cradle requirements management system for the program. Duties can include creating new objects and populating fields such as requirement text and rationale, verification methods, Detailed Verification Objectives (DVO), Stakeholder Expectations, Detailed Validation Objectives (DVaO), schedule items (for event planning), and change notices.\nAudit the work performed in Cradle and identify gaps/issues; track to resolve discrepancies and coordinate with requirements analysts, systems engineers and management.\nProvide Technical Baseline Reports from the system monthly and as needed for reviews.\nConduct one-on-one and group training and refresher training for users on how to create new objects, populate object fields, modify views, and output files to meet their needs during design, readiness reviews, system checks, etc.\nStays current with Cradle updates and issues by participating in the Cradle Community of Practice meeting once a month.\n\nWeb App Developer Functional Responsibilities (Majority of time task)\n\nDesign, develop, test, and maintain full-stack web applications end-to-end, from the Microsoft SQL Server database, through Entity Framework and .NET/C# APIs, to Angular + PrimeNG front ends.\nDesign and implement relational data models in MSSQL, using Entity Framework (migrations, relationships, LINQ) to manage schema evolution and data access.\nBuild and consume RESTful APIs in .NET/C#, including authentication/authorization, input validation, and error handling.\nDevelop responsive, accessible UI components with Angular and PrimeNG, including data grids, reactive forms, and interactive views, with attention to usability and consistent UX.\nTranslate functional and technical requirements into working software; refine and break down requirements into actionable development tasks tracked in GitHub Issues and Projects.\nDebug and resolve defects across the full stack (UI, API, EF, and database layers), including data-integrity and performance issues.\nManage source control and configuration using GitHub, including feature branching, pull requests, code review, and tagged releases.\nWrite and maintain unit tests using built-in .NET and Angular testing frameworks.\nPerform database administration tasks, including schema management, stored procedures, query tuning, and data troubleshooting.\nSupport software classification activities and maintain related engineering documentation.\nCreate and maintain user, technical, and release documentation for delivered software.\nConduct user training and deliver stakeholder demonstrations during design, readiness reviews, and system checks.\nCollaborate with stakeholders, systems engineers, and management to validate requirements and support project milestones.\n\nRequired skills and competencies include:\n\nAbility to develop detailed plans and work to a schedule.\nStrong communication skills, both written and verbal.\nGood interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships.\nHigh attention to detail and demonstrated follow-through on products.\nExperience delivering web apps end-to-end across database, API, and front-end layers.\nAbility to design relational database architecture and perform data analysis.\nAbility to translate general concepts and requirements into detailed technical designs.\nExperience with Git-based workflows: feature branching, pull requests, and code review.\nAbility to write and maintain automated unit tests.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\nProficiency with C# and the .NET framework/.NET Core for back-end and API development.\nEntity Framework: data modeling, migrations, relationships, and LINQ queries.\nExperience with Microsoft SQL Server, including relational schema design, stored procedures, query optimization, and problem resolution.\nProficiency with Angular, including components, services, routing, and reactive forms.\nExperience building UIs with the PrimeNG component library.\nVisual Studio, Visual Studio Code, Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio\nFamiliarity with SharePoint On-Prem & Online\nFamiliarity with PowerApps: Power Automate, Power FX Code, Power BI Report Building\nSharePoint On-Prem: Nintex Forms, Nintex Workflows, SSRS Report Building\n\nEducation/Experience\n\nBachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science or Computer Engineering preferred, or a BS in a different field with appropriate work experience.\n\nARES offers a competitive compensation and benefit package.
