For more information about NEBCO, visit www.nebcoinc.com.\nPosition Summary\nOperates straight or articulated rubber tired tractor type vehicle equipped with front mounted hydraulically powered bucket or scoop to lift and transport bulk materials to and from plant or processing areas, to feed conveyors, hoppers, or chutes, and to load trucks and provide other support plant operations. Must abide by Company Safety Program and Policies, while performing duties safely. Reliable attendance required\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:\nDirects incoming loads of construction material to the correct unloading location.\nWorks with plant leadership and asphalt plant operators to ensure production material needs are being met and in a timely manner.\nLoads hoppers and feeds belts of proper materials for production.\nLoads refuse, scrap, rubble and/or rejected material into trucks/roll offs for disposal.\nEnsures incoming loads of material are accurately recorded for receiving and for payable purposes.\nRemoves accumulated slurry out washout pits as needed.\nBasic equipment maintenance.\nMaintains the yard and unpaved areas of the complex by filling potholes and grading.\nAssures safe operation of equipment.\nOther duties may be assigned.\nEducation and/or Experience:\nHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent; and\nprevious heavy equipment experience with some manual labor on plant equipment; or\nequivalent combination of education, training and experience.\nCertificates, Licenses, Registration:\nValid NE driver’s license and be insurable under the company insurance program.\nQualifications:\nAbility to work flexible work schedule of 60+ hours per week, including some Saturdays to accommodate the work assignments and weather conditions.\nOther Skills and Abilities:\nThis position is year-round position; however, there may be times when work is limited.
