Security Operations Specialist

We’re looking for someone who enjoys solving problems, improving security processes, and working hands‑on with modern security tools. In this role, you’ll help keep the company’s systems, data, and people safe by supporting day‑to‑day security operations, reviewing vulnerabilities, assisting with tool deployments, and helping teams stay aligned with security standards.This is a great opportunity for someone with a few years of security experience who wants to grow their technical skills, learn new tools, and work closely with a collaborative security team.What You’ll DoReview and fix vulnerabilities across servers, networks, and end‑user devicesApply patches and updates, including items like .NET, Java, and other application componentsSupport new security tools (examples: Zscaler, CTEM, PAM enhancements)Help teams follow security policies and improve Microsoft security scoresDocument repeatable processes for assessments, testing, and routine security tasksAssist with audit requests and help maintain accurate security documentationSupport access control, including issuing badges and managing digital permissionsReview alerts and reports from security tools to spot unusual activityParticipate in business continuity and disaster recovery exercisesProvide hands‑on help during new technology rolloutsStay current on security trends and contribute ideas to improve tools and processesWhat You BringAround 3+ years of experience in security operations or a related technical roleFamiliarity with tools like Qualys, Intune, and common security frameworks (e.g., NIST)Understanding of vulnerability management, identity and access, and general IT operationsStrong communication skills and the ability to work well with different teamsCuriosity, problem‑solving skills, and a desire to keep learning
