The Program Manager demonstrates an advanced level of clinical knowledge in substance abuse disorder medication assisted treatment (“SUD” and “MAT”).\n\nThis full-time position is part of a larger interdisciplinary team that provides substance abuse disorder counseling to clients enrolled in the program.\n\nNOTE: This is an essential services position. The incumbent is required to respond after hours during emergencies and report to work for regular assigned shifts in the event of an emergency corporate closure.\n\nResponsibilities and Duties: (Include, but are not limited to:)\n\nPromote growth of counseling staff in areas of leadership, program excellence, client-centered care, education, and organizational involvement to meet the identified goals and needs of the employee and organization.\nMonitor, support, and provide hands-on coaching to counselors in their day-to-day operations to ensure expectations are met for quality client care and funder requirements.\nContribute to performance reviews with other key stakeholders.\nProvide substance abuse disorder counseling services, modeling best practices for direct reports, including assessment, treatment planning based on funder requirements.\nConduct individual and family counseling using methods consistent with evidence-based practice.\nComplete and maintain accurate records and reports regarding the patients’ histories and progress, services provided, and other required information; ad enter information into the electronic medical record (“EMR”) system(s) in the required format and within the required timeline.\nEnsure that each client’s rights are protected and that they are provided with appropriate interventions based on ability to participate, cultural concerns, and diagnostic impression.\nParticipate in quality initiatives and utilization review activities as requested.\nShare expertise with team members and interns.\nMaintain compliance with certification requirements, including continuing education and training.\nAttends staff meetings as assigned.\n\nQualifications:\n\nMinimum of High School Diploma or equivalent\nPossess valid licensing as SUD counselor by approved DHCS certifying body (e.g., CAADE, CADTP, or CCAPP).\nMinimum of three (3) years working in a substance abuse treatment environment;
