Role Description This is a full-time, on-site position for a Manual Lathe Machinist based in Channelview, TX. Responsibilities include operating and maintaining manual lathes to machine custom parts and components, interpreting blueprints and technical drawings, inspecting finished products for accuracy, and adhering to safety protocols in a shop environment. The machinist will collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet project deadlines and maintain quality standards. Qualifications Proficiency in operating and maintaining manual lathes and related machine shop equipmentAbility to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specificationsExperience with precision measurement tools, such as calipers, micrometers, and gaugesStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills related to machining and equipmentCommitment to workplace safety and adherence to safety protocolsEffective communication skills and the ability to work well within a teamHigh school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical training or certifications are a plusPrior experience in pump repair or machining custom pump components is an advantage
