Remodeler

We are looking for an employee that has a strong ability to problem solve construction needs. Duties include performing remodeling and carpenter tasks and experience in great variety of skills such as cabinetry, building decks, porches, fences, framing in window, exterior siding install and exterior doors and all other things that go along with residential maintenance. Must have a valid drivers licenses, a truck and some tools and be willing to past a back ground check. Responsibilities Survey buildings and structural issues to ensure they are consistent with health and safety standards Be able to make home repairs and experience with remodeling projects, installing cabinet, flooring, fram in new walls or build fences and decking, windows and doors Assist in the setup of ventilation and other systems and conduct repairs when necessary Perform manual repairs when necessary (fix locks, replace windows, repair drywall, installing doors, screen doors and cabinets etc.) Conduct general upkeep procedures (e.g. landscaping) and other tasks as assigned (painting, carpentry etc.) Leadership Skills Proven experience as a carpenter Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing and other systems Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods Working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills Good physical condition and strength with a willingness to work overtime High school diploma or equivalent; certificate in mold, building maintenance technology or relevant field will be a plus Job Type: Full-time Pay: $17.00 - $30.00 per hour Benefits: Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Ability to Commute: Longview, WA 98632 (Required) Ability to Relocate: Longview, WA 98632: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
