Your work will have a direct impact on the people that use our system and the communities they serve and live in.Your Goal as an ArchitectTranslate business vision into software architecture and technical specsCollaborate with and mentor other engineering team members to improve quality and velocityProvide thoughtful guidance to engineering team members on architectural decisions and task executionDesign and implement new featuresCollaborate on creating a scalable infrastructure to serve our growing user baseWhat You'll NeedExperience in a rapidly evolving, early-stage growth startup (Series A VC funded)Experience refining and developing tech systems in a company as it prepares to scale from hundreds of users to tens of thousandsAble to translate business vision into software architecture and technical specsExpertise in designing, implementing, and supporting monolithic applications as well as a microservices architectureExperience with CI/CD pipeline and the AWS ecosystemAt ease in our tech stack: Ruby, Go, React, Postgres, ElasticSearchRuthless dedication to qualityPassionate in empowering and coaching developers; distributed team experience will be a plus
