Data Capture Technician ( Part - Time , Field - Based )Location : Austin , TX ( Field work in and around Abilene , TX )Onsite | Two-staged Video interview.Pay Rate : $19 / hourSchedule : 1 weekday / week ( Tuesdays or Thursdays required )Hours : Half - day ( 2 – 3 hours / site visit )Job OverviewWe are hiring a Data Capture Technician to support reality capture and AI-driven data collection on active construction sites across Texas.In this field-based role, you will operate 360-degree cameras and surveying equipment to capture high-quality site data used for computer vision, machine learning, and algorithmic analysis. This role is ideal for dependable, safety-conscious individuals who enjoy hands-on outdoor work and working with technology in real-world environments.Immediate start required.Key Responsibilities Operate 360° cameras, reality capture tools, and surveying equipment on construction sitesCapture accurate, comprehensive site data following established workflows and methodologiesDocument site conditions and clearly communicate progress to project teamsFollow all construction site safety protocols, including client- and site-specific guidelinesCollaborate with project stakeholders to meet data capture requirementsWork on large-scale construction projects across TexasRequired Qualifications ( Must - Have ) Availability for one full weekday per week (flexible hours; must be available Tuesdays and Thursdays)Comfortable working outdoors on active construction sites in varying weather conditionsAbility to walk long distances and perform physical tasks throughout the dayStrong work ethic: dependable, punctual, detail-orientedClear communication skills and strong safety awarenessAbility to work independently and follow structured proceduresPreferred Qualifications ( Nice - to - Have ) Background or interest in construction, surveying, civil engineering, or field operationsPrevious experience with fieldwork, site inspections, or technical equipmentPhotography, mapping, or geospatial data exposureCollege students or recent graduates in related disciplines encouraged to applyTechnical aptitude; training provided.How to ApplySubmit your updated CV and complete the screening questions.
