Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant and One Year Old Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will create a nurturing, safe, and engaging environment tailored specifically for infants and one-year-olds. Your primary goal is to support each child's developmental milestones through attentive caregiving, innovative activities, and personalized interaction. Responsibilities Provide attentive, loving care to infants and/or one-year-olds Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning Monitor each child's progress, documenting developmental milestones and communicating updates with parents or guardians Follow all health and safety protocols, including administering first aid when necessary and maintaining hygiene standards Collaborate with colleagues to plan curriculum activities that support early childhood education principles Engage in ongoing professional development related to childhood development, special education needs, and caregiving best practices Qualifications Prior experience working with infants and toddlers in a daycare or preschool Knowledge of childhood development stages and age-specific needs for children from birth to two years old Certification in first aid and CPR required; additional certifications in special education or working with children with disabilities are a plus Must speak English to effectively communicate with families and peers. Strong classroom management skills with the ability to foster positive behavior management strategies Excellent communication skills for interacting effectively with children, parents, and team members Experience with classroom experience or caregiving roles involving early childhood education is desirable Ability to maintain patience, flexibility, and enthusiasm in a dynamic childcare environment Join us in shaping the earliest moments of children's lives by providing compassionate care combined with educational excellence.
