Full Stack Developer

Job Description This is for a technically proficient senior developer with Strong Java background. Candidate will develop new applications and enhancements to New Jersey Immunization registry (NJIIS) and Communicable Disease Surveillance System (CDRSS). The following tasks will be required: Responsible for full lifecycle projects from requirements gathering, design through development, implementation, rollout and maintenance of new and existing applications. Troubleshoot design flaws and system bottlenecks. Anticipate, identify, track and resolve issues and risks affecting own work and work of the project team. Skills needed: Strong knowledge of web programming specifics and experience in building web-based applications (required) Experience with working with JAVA and WebLogic Applications (Required) Experience with working with TomEE (Required) Experience working with relational databases. – Oracle or SQL Server (highly desired) Experience with converting WebLogic Application to TomEE (highly desired) Prior experience analyzing and making recommendations for commercially available software or other IT architectural components. Prior experience in projects where it was required to prioritize work and establish deadlines, assign responsibilities and monitor progress of team members. Prior experience developing contingency plans as necessary. Prior experience managing requirement gathering and change management processes Ability to lead team along with guide junior level developers. Execution of all responsibilities with little direct supervision. This candidate will be responsible for following government business process and operations, including familiarity with HIPPA and NJAC regulations.
