We are seeking a reliable and experienced cook to join our team at Garden View Assisted Living & Memory Care. We need a cook that is passion for preparing nutritious, home-style meals and understands the importance of food in creating comfort and connection for our residents. Responsibilities: · Prepare and serve well-balanced, appealing meals in accordance with planned menus · Follow dietary guidelines and accommodate special diets (low sodium, diabetic, mechanical soft, etc.) · Maintain a clean, safe, organized kitchen environment · Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations · Work collaboratively with staff to create a positive dining experience for residents Qualifications: · Previous cooking experience (health care and senior living) · Knowledge of safe food handling and sanitation practices · Ability to prepare meals in appropriate portions for a group setting · Dependable, organized, and team oriented Must submit to drug test and background check.
