Surgical Tech Location: Watertown, NY Agency: Jackson HealthPros Pay: $1,697 to $1,897 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 14 Weeks Start Date: 6/8/2026 About the Position Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist to expertly assist physicians and nurses in the operating room during surgical procedures, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients by preparing the operating room, sterilizing equipment, and providing support to the surgical team. Minimum Requirements: Current certification from NBSTSA or NCCT. (NBSTSA or NCCT certs only as required by client) BLS certification. Must be a Certified Surgical Technologist. Scrubbing experience in an operating room setting. Orthopedic surgical experience required. Experience with DaVinci robotic systems required. Travel experience preferred; candidate must have prior travel assignments. Approved pharmacology course or prior medication experience and successful completion of a medications exam. Knowledge of cleaning, sterilization, and disinfection of OR equipment and instrumentation. Willingness to function under RN supervision and perform routine and delegated duties per hospital and department standards. Preferred Qualifications: 2 years' experience as a certified OR/Surgical Technologist in a surgical environment. Experience precepting new staff. Prior experience in a hospital operating room setting. Assignment Details Shift Hours: 0700-1500 (client notes indicate 7:00 am–3:30 pm in some order notes) Shift Pattern: 5x8 Weekend, call, and holiday coverage required.
