Tri-Axle Dump Truck Driver

Overview We are seeking a skilled and reliable Dump Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting materials to and from construction sites while ensuring safety and compliance with all regulations. This role requires proficiency in operating heavy equipment and a strong understanding of construction site operations. Responsibilities Safely operate dump trucks to transport materials such as soil, gravel, and asphalt to designated locations. Collaborate with site supervisors to understand material needs and delivery schedules. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe working condition. Maintain accurate logs of hours worked and materials transported. Follow all safety protocols on construction sites to minimize risks and ensure compliance with regulations. Communicate effectively with team members regarding project updates and any issues that may arise during transport. Qualifications Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record. Proven experience in dump truck driving or heavy equipment operation is preferred. Mechanical knowledge to perform basic maintenance on vehicles is advantageous. Ability to work in various weather conditions and adapt to changing job site environments. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices on construction sites. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team setting. Milling and Asphalt experience is needed.
