PT Tech prides itself on producing high quality parts with short lead times that exceed our customers’ expectations. We foster a culture of personal growth and maintain an open door policy at all levels of our organization.\n\nThis position works Monday through Friday with a start time at 5:00am and an end time between 1:30pm and 3:30pm. Weekend work will be required as the jobs dictate. Overtime pay is paid at time and half over 40 hours worked in a week and on Saturday. Double time is paid for work on Sunday.\n\nSUMMARY\n\nResponsibility for machining, fitting, assembling, and finishing to make and repair molds.\n\nRESPONSIBILITIES\n1. Benching & spotting of aluminum and steel prototype & production molds\n2. Ability to disassemble and reassemble molds with minimal supervision\n3. Build and/or repair injection molds in accordance with mold designs and accepted procedures.\n4. Perform final assembly of the mold\n5. Assemble molds in accordance with tool designs and accepted procedures.\n6. Perform quality checks as required by our standards and procedures.\n7. Make changes as necessary to the tool.\n8. Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and modifications on injection molds.\n\nREQUIRED SKILLS\n1. Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.\n2. Must be experienced in Blueprint reading, interpretation, and GD&T\n3. Ability to perform calculations and conduct moderate analysis\n\nEDUCATION / EXPERIENCE\nA high school diploma or equivalent is required. Minimum 2 years of experience utilizing bridgeports, lathes, radial drills, surface grinders, etc. Experience using hand tools is preferred.\n\nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS\n1. Work requires walking, sitting, climbing, bending, stooping, grasping, crouching, pushing, balancing, reaching, kneeling, and standing.\n2.
