The ability to calculate the number of parts needed for the number of components being built is critical.\n\n*Status*: At-will employee, full-time, non-exempt\n\n*Supervision*: Supervision is by the Production Manager.\n\n*Conditions of Employment*: Successful candidates must pass a criminal background check. Candidate must meet the requirements of the full job description throughout the duration of employment with MariCorp U.S. and must follow all policies outlined in the employee handbook.\n\n*Essential Duties and Responsibilities*:\n\n1. Reads a tape measure.\n\n2. Ability to interpret shop drawings.\n\n3. Cuts, punches, and drills material precisely.\n\n4. Keeps work area clean.\n\n5. Lifts heavy objects.\n\n6. Operates a forklift and overhead crane.\n\n7. Setup, run, and maintain saw, punch press, and drills.\n\n8. Able to operate various hand tools.\n\n9. Works with Welder Fabricators to determine what parts are needed and when.\n\n10. Follow directions.\n\n11. Performs other duties, as required by the company.\n\n*Other Important Functions*:\n\n1. Attends workshops, seminars, and conferences for professional development as necessary.\n\n2. Attends and/or participates in company training.\n\n3. Interacts well with all levels of staff and management.\n\n4. Performs related administrative work as required.\n\n*Travel:* Work does not involve out-of-town travel.\n\n*Technical Experience:* Experience working in a production environment is helpful.\n\n*Required Education and Certifications:*\n\n1. Position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent. Equivalent experience, education, and training may be considered as a diploma substitute.\n\n2. If operating a motor vehicle while on company business, job incumbents must possess current Motor Vehicle Operator’s License and maintain proper personal insurance coverage. Must be forklift certified.\n\n*Supervisory Responsibility*: No supervisory responsibility for other employees. Company effectiveness depends upon a strong teamwork environment.\n\n*Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics:*\n\n1. Strong math and problem-solving skills.\n\n2. Ability to address situations as they arise and respond intuitively with accuracy and integrity.\n\n3. Continuous learning style and ability.\n\n4. Ability to present an overall professional image.\n\n5. Ability to communicate effectively in a friendly and efficient manner with vendors, employees, and other company contacts.\n\n6. Ability to effectively welcome and embrace differences among employees and vendors.\n\n7. Ability to perform the essential functions of the job without posing a direct threat to the health and safety of others.\n\n8. Must be able to clearly speak, read, and write in the English language.\n\n9. Knowledge of the different products produced by the company.\n\n10. Knowledge of materials used.\n\n11. Ability to identify any quality issues or defects in materials.\n\n12. Must be able to read and understand shop drawings.\n\n13. Must be able to operate a forklift.\n\n14.
