The Front-end engineer will support innovative member and team member experiences that leverage the latest technologies in open source and the cloud technologies.\nMain duties will include in ideating, experimenting, and developing modules, components, and coupling them into a functional application.\nRequired Skills: \n\nExperience working with large enterprise codebase, sharing stylesheets \n\nExperience working with component library/design systems \n\nExperience writing easy to read, clean, consistent CSS \n\nExperience writing reusable UI components \n\nExperience writing semantic, accessible HTML \n\nExperience with integrating 3rd party components into design systems \n\nExperience with monorepos in NX workspace \n\nTech stack Required:\nCSS/SCSS\nAngular17+\nJavaScript/TypeScript\nHTML\nNice to have:\nNX workspace\nBootstrap\nng-Bootstrap\nAzure DevOps\nStorybook (or similar UI component library tool)\nResponsibilities:\n\nDevelop new client facing features for interactive web applications that rely heavily on REST APIs using modern web technologies.\n\nWork closely with Product Owner, UX and fellow engineers to understand and build web application from scratch\n\nEnsure responsive implementation\n\nCollaborate with fellow engineers, designers, analysts to define, design, and ship new features\n\nDevelop high quality, shippable code in short increments\n\nIdentify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs\n\nHelp maintain code quality, organization, and automation\n\nImplement UI component design focused on re-usability/scalability/extensibility/supportability\n\nFocus on managing styles/stylesheets for client facing web applications\n\nEstablish and maintain component library/design system to be used across the enterprise\n\nWork with application developers to integrate design system\n\nWork with UX group to validate designs\n\nSkills:\n\nMust have hands-on experience in Angular 17 and up\n\nExperience in writing test cases using Karma, Jest and other testing frameworks\n\nExperience working with Azure DevOps and/or AWS\n\nExperience with GitHub, Azure DevOps Repos, or other version control tools\n\nStrong, hands-on development with Single Page Applications\n\n5+ years of experience developing dynamic, highly interactive user interfaces for the web\n\nAbility to manage and interface with APIs and RESTful web services\n\nDevOps experience such as creating configuration, build, and test scripts for Continuous Integration environments\n\nWell versed in software architecture patterns\n\nMust be an expert in CSS3, boot strap and any other similar technologies\n\nAdvanced knowledge in CSS, HTML, and JavaScript\n\nExperience with Test Driven Development (TDD) and Agile (XP)\n\nFollow best practices with client-side Angular code\n\nBe able to create self-contained, reusable, and testable modules and components\n\nAbility to perform unit testing\n\nBe proficient in TypeScript development\n\nKnowledge and experience with WCAG 2.0 accessibility standards and guidelines\n\nExperience with accessibility audit and quality assurance tool and processes\n\nExperience working in an Agile environment\n\nUnderstanding of S.O.L.I.D.
