Able to test and calibrate assemblies to meet tolerances, product specifications and work instructions. Work to achieve daily production schedule and to ensure the customer receives the highest quality product possible.Duties\r\nAssembles, installs and adjust variety of mechanical and/or electronic mechanical components, using hand tools, assembly fixtures, and test devices according to customer specification to final product testing.\r\nLayout, fabrication and final leveling of easy, medium, and complex curved stair lifts\r\nAcquire AWS certification for tubes.\r\nMay use hand tools and power tools to assemble units according to product/customer specifications\r\nIdentify and report units that fail tests or tolerance levels\r\nAdjust as necessary to produce product within specifications. Reject product outside of specifications\r\nReport and/or record any problems with parts and/or final assembly product or process to lead person and/or production manager or quality assurance personnel\r\nParticipate in the coordination of the flow of products throughout the manufacturing process\r\nReport parts outages and component part shortages to lead person and/or production manager\r\nReport any quality concerns to lead person and/or production manager, quality assurance personnel\r\nAchieve the daily production goals\r\nOperate within standard operating procedures and adhere to all applicable safety practices.\r\nRequirements:Previous assembly/sub assembly work in a manufacturing environment preferred\r\nBeginning level ability to weld, capable of reading and working from curved stair lift drawings a plus, experience with hand tools and power tools\r\nHigh degree of accuracy and attention to detail\r\nWelding school for Mig and/or Tig welding, or work-related experience a plus\r\nBasic understanding/ability to use computer to access time and attendance system.\r\nGood interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with others\r\nExcellent communication skills, both verbal and written.\r\nHigh performance team-oriented environment.\r\nFoster and promote a culture of continuous improvement.\r\nAbility to interface effectively and positively with all members of the organization, suppliers and customers.\r\nSelf-starter, able to succeed in a dynamic work environment.\r\nWillingness to do hands-on work within a team environment\r\nBehavioral Qualifications:\r\n1.
