At Southern Housing, we’re looking for a talented specialist to join our Technology team and play a leading role in strengthening and evolving our data estate.This is an exciting opportunity to help drive high-quality data management across the organisation — designing, developing and optimising source data systems, supporting robust data warehouses, and championing best practice throughout our technology environment. Working collaboratively with our wider data community, you’ll help ensure consistency, quality and innovation in the way we manage and use data.If you’re passionate about data, enjoy solving complex challenges, and want to be part of an organisation making a difference to people and communities, we’d love to hear from you.This is a hybrid role, with a minimum of two days per week in the office.What You’ll NeedExperience with various Data Management architectures like Data Warehouse, Data Lake, Data Hub and the supporting processes like Data Integration, Governance, Metadata ManagementExperience in working with large, heterogeneous datasets in building and optimizing data pipelines, pipeline architectures and integrated datasets using traditional data integration technologies.Designing source data and data management principles.Demonstrated success in working with both IT and business while integrating analytics and data science output into business processes and workflows.Understanding of and experience with various software development lifecycle methodologies (e.g., Waterfall, Iterative, Agile).SQL Server and Visual Studio Experience with translating business requirements into system functional and non-functional requirementsExperience with popular database programming languages including SQL, PL/SQL, possibly extending to NoSQL/Hadoop oriented, and nonrelational databases.In your supporting statement, it is important that you address how you meet each of the above criteria providing real examples.Closing date Sunday 14th June 2026 at 23:59Shortlisting: W/c 15th June 2026Interviews: W/c 22nd June 2026
