Senior Certified Scrum Master (Large-Scale Agile Program)Location: Lowell, MassachusettsRole OverviewWe are seeking a highly experienced Certified Scrum Master to lead and coordinate Agile delivery across a large-scale program (70–100 team members). This role requires strong expertise in scaled Agile frameworks, cross-team coordination, and stakeholder management to ensure consistent, predictable delivery.The ideal candidate will act as a servant leader, facilitator, and Agile coach, capable of managing multiple Scrum teams and representing the program at leadership levels.Key ResponsibilitiesAgile Delivery & FacilitationFacilitate all Scrum ceremonies across multiple teams:Daily Stand-upsSprint PlanningSprint ReviewsRetrospectivesEnsure adherence to Scrum principles as defined in the Scrum Alliance and Scrum.org guidelinesDrive continuous improvement through retrospectives and actionable insightsScaled Team Coordination (70–100 Members)Coordinate delivery across multiple Scrum teams (Scrum of Scrums)Manage dependencies, risks, and cross-team blockersAlign team outputs with program-level objectives and timelinesStakeholder & Program ManagementAct as the primary interface between teams and senior stakeholdersProvide regular updates on sprint progress, risks, and delivery forecastsSupport Product Owners in backlog prioritization and roadmap alignmentAgile Coaching & MentorshipCoach teams on Agile best practices and maturity improvementGuide leadership on Agile adoption in large-scale environmentsFoster a culture of accountability, transparency, and collaborationRisk & Impediment ManagementProactively identify and remove impediments impacting deliveryEscalate critical risks and coordinate mitigation strategiesEnsure smooth execution of releases across teamsMetrics & ReportingTrack and report Agile KPIs:VelocitySprint burndownRelease progressUse tools like Jira, Azure DevOps for tracking and reportingRequired QualificationsCertified Scrum Master (CSM, PSM, or equivalent)7+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in Agile environmentsProven experience managing large-scale teams (70+ members)Strong understanding of scaled Agile frameworks such as:SAFeLeSSExcellent facilitation, communication, and leadership skillsExperience with Agile tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence)
