Job Title: Quality Assurance ManagerLocation: Cincinnati, Ohio (ONLY LOCALS)Experience Required: 10+ YearsEmployment Type: Long Term ContractJob Summary:We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to lead quality engineering initiatives within cross-functional Agile teams. This role is responsible for driving test automation excellence, defining quality strategies, and ensuring high standards across the software development lifecycle.The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership in test automation, Agile practices, and CI/CD environments, along with the ability to mentor teams and influence quality engineering best practices across squads, chapters, and tribes.Key Responsibilities:Act as a thought leader in Quality Engineering, promoting best practices across Agile teamsLead and collaborate with Agile squads, chapters, and tribes to drive quality initiativesOwn test strategy, planning, framework design, and executionDesign, develop, and maintain robust test automation frameworksEnsure delivery of high-quality, reusable, and maintainable automation codeDevelop comprehensive test coverage across:UI (web and mobile applications)APIs and backend systemsPerform exploratory testing to identify edge cases and improve coverageOrganize automated tests into scalable and repeatable test suitesAuthor and manage test cases using test management toolsAnalyze defects, reproduce issues, and collaborate with teams to resolve them efficientlyPromote adherence to quality governance standards and processesDrive continuous improvement using metrics, feedback, and innovative testing approachesRequired Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience8+ years of experience in Quality Engineering / Test AutomationStrong programming skills in Java, JavaScript, or similar languagesProven experience building and maintaining test automation frameworksHands-on experience in testing:Web and mobile applicationsAPIs and backend systemsExperience with GitHub or similar version control systemsExperience with application lifecycle management tools (VersionOne, Quality Center, etc.)Experience working in CI/CD/CT environments (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, etc.)Strong understanding of web technologies (HTTP, proxies, caching)Experience working in cloud environmentsProficiency in SQLExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsMandatory Skills:Quality ControlQuality EngineeringCI/CD ToolsGitHubVersionOneTeam ManagementPreferred Qualifications:Experience in Agile/Scrum environmentsStrong leadership experience managing QA teams or initiativesFamiliarity with modern testing frameworks and toolsExperience in FinTech or banking domainKey Competencies:Leadership & Team ManagementTest Strategy & Automation ExpertiseAgile CollaborationProblem Solving & Analytical ThinkingStakeholder CommunicationContinuous Improvement Mindset
