DutiesConducts analysis to determine the effectiveness of operations, compliance with established policies and procedures, reliability of transactions and validity of supporting documentation.Manages the review of financial policies, guidelines, data, documents and reports to determine trends. Identifies actual and potential problem areas, develops actions to improve operations and resolves issues posed by internal and external sources.Exercises accountability and leadership oversight of payroll certification, audits and operational reviews to ensure correct and proper execution of the agency guidance, policies, and procedures with respect to financial management processes.Assists with resolving complex functional issues with financial systems and affected customers. Develops recommendations, facilitates resolutions of payroll related problems and ensures proper interfaces with external and internal financial systems.Coordinates and participates in the development and presentation of program training.
