PMA-205 provides full lifecycle acquisition of naval aviation platforms and general training systems, training range instrumentation systems, and distributed mission training centers. The TCTS II is a next generation secure, Live-Virtual-Constructive (LVC) enabling, air combat training system that offers realistic threat scenarios and secure cross-service training. This is a full man-year position (1,920 hours). This position is hybrid with local telework and on-site at NAS Patuxent River as required.\nPrimary Responsibilities:\nPerforms programmatic or technical leadership roles in an organization, identifying, formulating, designing, and/or testing practical solutions to engineering problems\nEmploys systems engineering methods and tools in the development of advanced complex systems\nAssists with the LVC architecture\nAddress emerging technical and architecture questions regarding the Live (aircraft)-Virtual (simulations)-Constructive (synthetic threat) LVC elements\nSets up processes for configuration control of interfaces between the TCTSII ground system and weapons models/constructive entity generating software systems\nSets up processes for configuration control of the interfaces between the TCTSII system and the aircraft.\nPlan for and implement the PMA-205 portions of the LVC Capabilities Requirements Document (CRD)\nGuides the engineering development of modern complex systems\n\nQualifications:\nMinimum Qualifications:\nTechnical or Scientific MS or MA degree from an accredited college or university\nALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTION: Technical or Scientific BS or BA degree from an accredited college or university and an additional four (4) years of recent and relevant experience\nAt least ten (10) years of recent and relevant experience in an engineering position, three (3) of which must be directly related to DoD systems.\nDemonstrated experience in an area of engineering expertise is required.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills\nClear communications and teamwork skills working in a collaborative environment\nActive Top Secret Security Clearance required; TS/SCI eligibility a plus.\nThis position will require access to SAP and most likely SCI programs.\nMust be a US Citizen\n\n#LI-CS3\nOverview:\nSabre Systems, LLC, has been providing innovative technological solutions and services for Department of Defense, Federal Civilian, and commercial customers for more than 35 years.
