Apply today to join our dedicated team of healthcare professionals.\nResponsibilities- Certified Athletic Trainer:\nPractice said profession within the parameters of the Missouri Athletic Trainers Licensing Law as laid out by the Missouri Board of Athletic Trainer Examiners, and will follow both the Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics as set forth by the National Athletic Trainers Association.\nThese duties are based on the needs of the school and its athletic programs. The athletic trainer’s duties, enumerated in this document, should not be considered all inclusive. The Athletic Director and BOOST Regional Director, as necessary, shall modify duties.\nBe present at home athletic contests and practices and attend other post-season and home-hosted contests as directed by the contract and Athletic Director.\nEstablish an effective athletic training program for high school athletics.\nProvide 1st aid and injury assessment/treatment/rehabilitation/reconditioning for Richmond SD student-athletes.\nThe athletic trainer will also be responsible for making appropriate physician referrals.\nCoordinate the annual required athletic physicals and supervise the clearance of injured athletes prior to and during the sport seasons.\nMaintain a line of communication with the team physician(s) regarding athletic health care and recommended treatment/rehabilitation for all athletic injuries.
