DC ASSOCIATE
Position Summary: Performs various Distribution functions such as, but not limited to: receiving, counting, validating, documenting, shipping, equipment operation, etc. Develops relationships both inside and outside of the company and represents the organization in a professional manner.Responsibilities and Duties:Validate and sign off on vendor deliveries.Load/Unload trucks as needed.Kit, verify, count all fab shop and job site materials.Update Bill of Material spreadsheets.Drive company vehicle to vendors DC's to pick up Will Call material.Stock and document material.Pulls orders for delivery to job sites. Ensures items pulled are correct and in working order.Operate sit down propane forklift to store/pull product from floor and pallet rack locations.Meet all production and job site schedule deadlines.Ensures cleanliness and organization in the warehouse is at optimal levels.All other duties as assigned.Qualifications and Experience: Experience/Qualifications Required:Minimum 2+ years prior Distribution Center or Warehouse experience.Background in plumbing, sheet metal and/or construction preferred.Experience in Inventory Control, Inventory Management, Manufacturing & Production will be considered. Job Skills: Team-oriented attitude with willingness to assist and collaborateStrong organizational skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong attention to detail and accuracyAbility to work in fast paced distribution center environmentPhysical requirements: Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and work on feet for extended periodsMay require standing, walking, lifting, and repetitive movementsMay involve working in varying temperatures depending on the facilityEducation: High School Diploma or equivalent required.Special Requirements: Valid Driver's LicenseEqual Opportunity Employer
