Administrative AssistantAtkinson Aeronautics & Technology (Ataero) is seeking an Administrative Assistant to provide day-to-day administrative support within a Department of Defense (DoD) Joint Program Office environment supporting an aviation program. This role requires a reliable and detail-oriented professional capable of supporting office operations, coordinating activities, and assisting leadership and staff in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities:Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate appointments using Microsoft Outlook Support meeting coordination including conference room scheduling and VTC setup Prepare and format documents, reports, and basic briefing materials Assist with tracking taskers, suspense dates, and action items Maintain organized electronic and hard copy filing systems Draft and edit routine correspondence and administrative documents Support onboarding activities and administrative processing for personnel Coordinate office logistics including supplies, visitor access, and general support Additional Duties:Interface with internal team members and government personnel as needed Support task management systems (e.g., ETMS2 or similar) at a basic level Assist with Defense Travel System (DTS) actions including travel coordination and vouchers Provide general administrative support for meetings, events, and office operations Assist with maintaining workflow processes and improving administrative efficiency Minimum Qualifications:High school diploma required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred 13+ years of administrative or office support experience (DoD environment preferred) Basic understanding of administrative processes in a professional office setting Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance (or active clearance preferred) Required Skills & Competencies:Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Strong organizational and time-management skills Effective written and verbal communication skills Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment Attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information Preferred Qualifications:Experience supporting DoD or federal programs Familiarity with ETMS2 or similar task management systems Experience with DTS and travel coordination Experience supporting teams in a structured or headquarters environment Benefits:Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance Life and Disability Coverage 401(k) Retirement Plan 401(k) Company Matching Employee Assistance Program Paid Time Off + all Federal Holidays Tuition Assistance/certifications for job related education Competitive Salary Based on Experience Travel: Occasional travel may be required, but less than 10%
