In this role, you will assemble precision munitions and contribute to the ongoing refinement of our state-of-the-art manufacturing processes.\n\nResponsibilities Include:\n\nDeliver work according to quality requirements and work instructions; implement the requirements in daily ways of working in a team-based environment.\nUnderstand and adhere to ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) control procedures and safeguarding requirements.\nUnderstand and adhere to Explosive Safety control procedures and safeguarding requirements.\nSupport daily, incremental continuous improvement highlighting advancement opportunities in safety, quality, cost, delivery, and morale.\nAbility to complete functional testing of assemblies and systems.\nSign off when work is complete according to specification.\nSupport the training and transfer of knowledge to new employees.\nContribute to a positive and productive work environment, aligned with our Company values: Trust, Drive, Expertise and Support.\nAbility to work extended hours and weekend overtime when required.\nOther tasks as assigned and authorized.\n\nCompensation: Starting hourly rate of $22.50, commensurate with relevant experience.\n\nThe compensation range provided is a general guideline. When extending an offer, Saab, Inc. considers factors including (but not limited to) the role and associated responsibilities, location, and market and business considerations, as well as the candidate's work experience, key skills, and education/training.\n\nSkills and Experience:\n\nRequired Education and Experience:\n\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent with 1 year or less of manufacturing experience.\nAbility to read and interpret work instructions, assembly drawings, and technical documentation.\nAbility to execute the appropriate working methods and select the correct hand tools to achieve the proper level of quality and efficiency.\nAbility to work with standardized procedures for high repeatability in an advanced manufacturing environment.\nExcellent communication, collaboration and teamwork skills.\n\nDesired Skills:\n\nExperience working in a manufacturing environment with multiple team members on production or assembly lines.\nBackground in mechanics, mechanical assembly, or related field operating automated equipment and an understanding of mechanical assembly processes and manufacturing workflow.\nKnowledge with tools, equipment, software, and related technologies.\nWorking/handling of munitions or other hazardous materials a plus.\n\nPhysical Requirements:\n\nMust be able to stand for extended periods of time.\nAbility to perform physical tasks such as consistent bending, stooping, twisting, grasping, gripping, standing, walking, kneeling, climbing, reaching throughout a normal workday.\nAbility to perform repetitive motions (such as lifting or assembly of parts) in-cluding the use of handheld power tools.\nAbility to lift up to twenty-five (25) pounds frequently, and up to fifty (50) pounds on occasion.\n\nCitizenship Requirements:\n\nMust be a U.S. citizen.
