This is a highly visible leadership role for a strategic, hands-on accounting professional with strong business acumen and operational finance experience.The ideal candidate will bring a blend of financial leadership, manufacturing expertise, and operational insight to help guide company growth and improve overall business performance.Responsibilities of the Controller will include:Oversee all accounting and financial operations, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash managementPrepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAPLead budgeting and forecasting processes in partnership with department leadershipAnalyze financial performance and provide actionable recommendations to leadershipDevelop and improve internal controls, financial processes, and operational efficienciesSupport strategic planning and growth initiatives through financial analysis and operational insightManage ERP system processes and support system optimization initiativesOversee cash flow, banking relationships, and financial risk management activitiesCoordinate external audits, tax compliance activities, and regulatory reportingCollaborate cross-functionally with operations, production, and executive leadership teamsLead, mentor, and develop accounting and finance staffSupport operational decision-making through strong business and financial analysisJob Requirements Qualifications for the role of Controller:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field requiredCPA preferredManufacturing industry experience requiredExperience working with and managing ERP systems required10+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience preferredStrong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controlsExperience supporting operations and business growth initiativesStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsExcellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilitiesAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented manufacturing environmentStrong business sense and operational finance experience preferred About Us: redShift Recruiting is the region's premier recruiting agency with over 100 years of combined experience in the recruiting field.
