This individual shall be skilled with analyzing malicious binaries using various methods and determining functionality and indicators of compromise. You will provide information that assists with malware detection and mitigation. Experience with malware reverse engineering is required and expertise with Ghidra and/or IDA Pro is helpful.\nReverse Engineer shall possess the following capabilities: Perform technical analysis of malicious binaries through controlled execution and/or static analysis of assembly code, overcoming techniques designed to defeat analysis, in order to ascertain functionality, capability, call-backs, assist with attribution to adversary infrastructure, and identification of indicators of compromise.\nProvide information and documentation that enables malware detection, signature creation, and mitigation.\nQualifications: Doctoral degree plus 2 years of relevant experience.\nMaster’s degree with 3 years of relevant experience.\nBachelor’s Degree with 5 years of relevant experience.\nAssociates degree with 7 years of relevant experience.\nBachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related discipline from an accredited college or university.\nRelevant experience must be in malware reverse engineering.\nCertifications Required: CISSP, GIAC GREM, or CREA Certification required.\nInformation Assurance Certification may be required\nPay Range:$160,000 - $210,000\nSALARY TRANSPARANCY There are many factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
