Management retains the discretion to add to or change the duties of the position at anytime.\r\nSUMMARY\r\nUnder close supervision, make repairs to airline seats and subassemblies and/or to monuments: lavatories, galleys and other interior components according to specifications and blueprints.\r\nJOB FUNCTIONS\r\nRepair aircraft seating, including passenger and crew seats.\r\nRepair interior monuments (galleys, lavatories and class dividers), overhead bins and side walls.\r\nDisassemble components, determine malfunctions & make repairs.\r\nRead inspection reports & rework instructions.\r\nRead blueprints to determine type of repair, tools required, and to plan sequence of operations.\r\nRead schematics.\r\nSheet metal fabrication to drawings.\r\nComposite and laminate repairs.\r\nReassemble components to meet company, customer and FAA standards.\r\nAccurately read and follow schematics / blueprints and work orders.\r\nUse bonding materials, fillers and compounds to make repairs.\r\nPlumbing repair.\r\nRead and understand blueprints, CMM & IPCs.\r\nPainting.\r\nSurface preparation.\r\nAs necessary, performs other related duties of which the above are representative.\r\nManagement must contact the Human Resources department of adding to or changing a significant number of duties considered essential to the satisfactory performance of this job by the average incumbent.
