This person will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of boiler operations for the plant. In addition, this individual will assure continuous functioning of steam, air, water, and wastewater systems of the facility as well as operate the Amino system for quality and continued operations.\r\nResponsibilities\r\n\r\n\r\nOperate and maintain the boiler and plant ancillary equipment in an energy and cost-effective manner.\r\n\r\n\r\nMaintain supplies and inventory and perform general housekeeping functions to ensure an efficient workflow. Use forklift, bobcat or similar equipment for the transfer of chemicals and sanitation.\r\n\r\n\r\nSample, mix, and maintain proper chemical balances of boiler. Check release of chlorine into outside sources to ensure within tolerance of federal, state and/or local ordinances\r\n\r\n\r\nRead, record, test, and document information from gauges, meters, charts and testing of various equipment to ensure temperature and pressures are within established parameters.\r\n\r\n\r\nPerform routine maintenance on equipment as required.\r\n\r\n\r\nTest emergency equipment and prepare boiler for annual inspection\r\n\r\n\r\nRequirements\r\n\r\n\r\nCurrent Minnesota 1st Class B Engineer boiler license.\r\n\r\n\r\nEducation- Minimum of a High school diploma or Equivalency.\r\n\r\n\r\nMust be able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen.\r\n\r\n\r\nPhysical Labor (lifting, bending, climbing stairs and etc.)\r\n\r\n\r\nKnowledge of the Hazard Communications Standard and PSM.\r\n\r\n\r\nAbility to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.\r\n\r\n\r\nCommunication Skills - Must read, write and understand English.\r\n\r\n\r\nMath and problem solving skill set.\r\n\r\n\r\nAbility to be a self-starter, multitask and team player.\r\n\r\n\r\nOrganization Summary\r\nAg Processing Inc (AGP) is a cooperative that processes, sells and transports soybeans, grains, and related products.
