The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial automation, with specific expertise in Foxboro, DeltaV and/or Honeywell control platforms. This role involves developing, implementing, and optimizing DCS programs to enhance operational efficiency, reliability, and safety for our North American customers.\n\nResponsibilities may include but are not necessarily limited to the following:\nDesign and develop DCS programming solutions for process control and automation in the Pulp & Paper sector.\nImplement and configure Foxboro, DeltaV and/or Honeywell systems to meet project specifications and industry standards.\nCollaborate with engineering teams to integrate DCS with other plant systems.\nConduct system testing and validation to ensure proper functioning and adherence to safety protocols.\nProvide technical support and training to operations and maintenance personnel.\nStay updated with the latest advancements in DCS technology and apply best practices in system programming.\n\nWhen selecting candidates, we will be looking for the following essential skills, abilities, and experience:\nBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, or a related field.\nMinimum of 5 years of experience in DCS programming with preference in the Pulp & Paper industry.\nProficiency with Foxboro.\nProficiency with DeltaV and/or Honeywell control systems.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent communication and teamwork abilities.\nLegally entitled to work in the US\nAbility and willingness to travel to domestic and international sites (typically 5-20%)\n\nWHAT CAN WE OFFER YOU?\nMeaningful Work – ANDRITZ remains forefront of future engineering technologies and is committed to successfully delivering innovative, high-quality, environmentally responsible solutions to our customers, shaping the future we live in.
