{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"0f6df3e1c743aa38c5fe7652","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/0f6df3e1c743aa38c5fe7652","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/0f6df3e1c743aa38c5fe7652","title":"Senior Structures Engineer","description":"POSITION: Structures Engineer\n\nLOCATION: Jupiter, FL\n\nSTATUS: Salary Exempt\n\nJOB SUMMARY\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\n\nThe essential functions of the job include, but are not limited to, the following:\n\nAnalyze Industrial Gas Turbine Engine component designs to ensure parts maintain appropriate stress levels, meets life requirements and design criteria.\nUtilize appropriate analysis/design tools, such as ANSYS/Abaqus, Microsoft Excel, ProEngineer or similar.\nSupport the continued development and oversee the adherence to PSM technical reviews, engineering changes and field validation plans and verification.\nAssess needs and identify critical path schedules for design, manufacturing and procurement activities.\nCreate, lead and/or deliver presentations to internal and external clients.\nOther duties as assigned.\nMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS\nEducation & Training\nBachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field is required.\nMust complete EHS assigned regulatory training for work area as described by PSM’s EHS Training Matrix\n\nSkills/Experience\n2+ years of experience designing, analyzing, and manufacturing gas turbine engine components and/or large rotating components.
