This role plays a critical part in continuous improvement initiatives, equipment integration, and driving operational excellence within the production environment.\n\nWhat You'll Do\n\nProcess Optimization & Continuous Improvement\nAnalyze existing manufacturing processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement and increased efficiency.\nDevelop and implement process improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies.\nEstablish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure process efficiency and effectiveness.\nConduct root cause analysis and corrective actions to resolve process inefficiencies and quality issues.\nProcess Design & Development\nCollaborate with product design and R&D teams to ensure products are designed for efficient manufacturability.\nDesign, configure, and optimize production processes from inception through startup and certification.\nRecommend design modifications to improve production efficiency and reduce ergonomic risks.\nEvaluate and implement new technologies and tools that enhance process capabilities and reduce operational costs.\nManufacturing Routers Review\nReview and update manufacturing routers to ensure accurate documentation of process steps, cycle times, and resource allocation.\nIdentify and recommend changes to router instructions to streamline workflows and eliminate non-value-added activities.\nEnsure that routers reflect current best practices and compliance with operational and quality standards.\nCollaborate with production, quality, and planning teams to validate router accuracy and efficiency.\nData Analysis & Reporting\nUse data-driven decision-making to track, analyze, and report on process performance metrics.\nDevelop dashboards and reports to provide insights into production performance and improvement opportunities.\nLeverage statistical tools to predict and prevent process bottlenecks.\nCompliance & Quality Assurance\nEnsure that processes adhere to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and safety protocols.\nDevelop standard operating procedures (SOPs) and process documentation to ensure compliance and repeatability.\nConduct audits to identify opportunities for improvement, maintain process integrity and ensure adherence to best practices.\nProblem-Solving & Troubleshooting\nAct as a technical expert in diagnosing and resolving process-related issues in production.\nCollaborate with maintenance and operations teams to address technical challenges promptly.\nLead incident investigations to determine root causes and implement preventive solutions.\nProject Management\nManage process improvement projects from initiation to completion, including budgeting, resource allocation, and timeline tracking.\nEngage stakeholders across departments to ensure alignment and support for project initiatives.\nMonitor the impact of implemented changes and ensure sustainability of improvements through productivity tracking\nTraining & Knowledge Sharing\nTrain production teams on new processes, tools, and best practices.\nFoster a culture of continuous learning and improvement among team members.\nCreate documentation and knowledge-sharing resources to institutionalize process improvements.\nSustainability & Innovation\nIncorporate energy-saving, waste reduction, and sustainability practices into process improvements.\nStay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation in process engineering.\nPromote creative solutions that enhance the organization's competitive advantage through people, process and technology.\nOccasional travel to vendors or other manufacturing locations may be required.\n\nWhat You'll Bring\n\nBachelor’s degree in mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering or related field.\n3+ years of experience in manufacturing or process engineering role.\nStrong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, SPC, and DOE tools.\nExperience with CAD (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and manufacturing systems (ERP/MES).\n\nWhat We Value\n\nExcellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.\nProficiency in data analysis tools and ERP systems.\nExperience in automation or robotics integration.\nFamiliarity with ISO/AS9100/IATF16949 standards.\nBackground in Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA).\nHands-on experience with equipment installation, troubleshooting, and productivity improvement.\n\nEqual Opportunity Employer.
