Your primary focus will be integrating development, security, and operations best practices to support the modernization of enterprise applications and migration from legacy platforms to cloud-native solutions. Key responsibilities include:\nDesigning, implementing, and maintaining secure, scalable, and highly available cloud infrastructure environments.\nArchitecting and supporting multi-environment deployments across development, testing, staging, and production.\nDeveloping and implementing DevSecOps strategies, standards, and best practices.\nDesigning, building, and optimizing Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) pipelines.\nImplementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions to automate provisioning and configuration management.\nIntegrating security controls and compliance requirements throughout the software development lifecycle.\nAutomating operational processes to enhance efficiency, reliability, and consistency.\nSupporting containerized application deployments and orchestration platforms.\nDesigning and implementing monitoring, logging, and observability solutions for ongoing optimization.\nCollaborating with cross-functional teams including development, security, infrastructure, and business stakeholders to deliver secure and reliable solutions.\nEvaluating emerging technologies, tools, and frameworks to continually improve DevSecOps capabilities.\nIdentifying and mitigating security risks in cloud and application environments.\nDriving process improvement initiatives and establishing operational best practices.\nCreating and maintaining technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational procedures.\nOptimizing system performance, scalability, reliability, and resiliency.\nEssential Skills, Experience\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.\nSeven (7) or more years of experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, cloud infrastructure, or related technical disciplines.\nStrong experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), including secure cloud architecture and administration.\nThorough understanding of cloud security principles, security controls, and industry best practices.\nExpertise with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.\nProficiency with scripting and automation languages such as Python and Bash.\nExperience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines to support modern application delivery.\nHands-on experience with containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, and Amazon ECS.\nFamiliarity with version control systems, particularly Git.\nExposure to monitoring and logging platforms such as AWS CloudWatch and Grafana.\nStrong knowledge of cloud networking concepts and their implementation.\nExperience with Identity and Access Management (IAM) and access control frameworks.\nBackground in implementing automated testing frameworks and test-driven development practices.\nDemonstrated leadership in cross-functional teams, ability to drive collaboration and alignment.\nExcellent written and verbal communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.\nQualifications:\nExperience with Splunk administration, monitoring, or security analytics a plus.\nBackground supporting federal, government, or highly regulated environments preferred.\nFamiliarity with NIST 800-53 security controls and compliance frameworks is advantageous.\nExperience with FISMA compliance processes and security authorization activities preferred.\nProficiency in designing and supporting cloud-native and microservices-based architectures.\nBackground implementing security automation and compliance-as-code solutions.\nRelevant certifications highly desirable, including:\nAWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional\nCertified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or other Kubernetes certification\nDocker certification\nGitLab Certified Git Associate, CI/CD Associate, or Security Specialist\nHashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate\nIf you have deep expertise in DevSecOps, cloud architecture, automation, and security, and you’re seeking a leadership opportunity where you can make a real impact on transformative enterprise technology initiatives, we invite you to apply for this role.\nECCO Select is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce.
