Title: Maintenance Operations Center (MOC) Controller Location: Orlando, FL 32822 Pay Rate: $35.85 $36.85/hour Duration: 1 Year+ Hours: Rotating schedule (initial training Monday Friday; 8AM 5PM, then transition to 10-hour shifts, then 12-hour rotating 4/3 3/4 schedule)OverviewThe Maintenance Operations Center (MOC) Controller supports global aircraft maintenance operations by coordinating planning, troubleshooting, and communication for in-flight entertainment and connectivity systems. This is a 24/7 operational role requiring strong technical expertise, real-time communication, and customer interaction.Job DescriptionCoordinate aircraft maintenance planning, scheduling, and daily operational supportCommunicate maintenance status, delays, and technical issues with internal teams and customersTroubleshoot IFEC (In-Flight Entertainment & Connectivity) system issuesReview and validate technical documentation and maintenance instructionsInterpret structural and electrical drawingsEnsure maintenance discrepancies are resolved and documented accuratelyProvide real-time updates and reporting to leadership and customersSupport installation, modification, and reactivation projects at MRO locationsMaintain accurate maintenance records and follow compliance proceduresWork collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholdersRequired SkillsFAA Airframe Certificate (or in progress within 18 months)5+ years of aviation maintenance experience OR 2+ years IFEC experienceAircraft Maintenance Controller experience (preferred)Strong avionics knowledge (cabling/wiring)Ability to read and interpret electrical and structural drawingsKnowledge of FAA regulations (Part 21, 121, 145)Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)Strong communication skills with talk and type capabilityAbility to multitask, prioritize, and work independentlyValid Driver s License and ability to obtain a PassportEducation RequirementsHigh School Diploma or GED requiredAssociate degree in Maintenance Management preferredAdditional RequirementsMust pass a 7-year background check and drug screeningMust be able to obtain airport security clearanceMust be comfortable with rotating day/night shifts every 8 10 weeksMust be available for onsite training and long-term contract workMust be able to travel domestically and internationally as neededWork Environment & Schedule100% onsite in an office-based MOC environmentInitial training: 8-hour shifts (Monday Friday)Secondary phase: 10-hour shiftsFinal schedule: 12-hour rotating 4/3 3/4 scheduleRotation between day and night shifts every 8 10 weeksBenefits (employee contribution):Health insurance Health savings account Dental insurance Vision insurance Flexible spending accounts Life insurance Retirement planAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to age, race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.
