You will utilize our facilities, equipment, and personnel to achieve the highest level of product production while ensuring safety and quality standards are met at the lowest possible cost.\nSafety: Develop and maintain high plant standards of safety and work conditions, administer safety programs, and ensure compliance with all safety regulations, including stormwater tests and Pollution Protection Plans.\nCommunication: Effectively communicate organizational policies and procedures and provide daily direction to various staff functions, including production scheduling, administration, inventory management, order process, and transportation.\nTechnical Knowledge: Possess a deep understanding of all manufacturing processes and production equipment.\nPerformance Analysis: Analyze monthly metrics related to safety, quality, delivery, cost, and inventory.\nRegulatory Compliance: Stay current with Interstate Commerce Commission and Department of Transportation regulations, as well as customer and government agency specifications.\nCustomer Engagement: Coordinate directly with internal and external customers on orders, routes, specifications, pricing, and shipping to ensure the production of high-quality products in line with profit goals and strategies.\nQuality Assurance: Ensure all quality procedures are adhered to and documented in compliance with company policies.\nInventory Management: Maintain proper inventory levels to support the local market and make necessary adjustments as required.\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.\n5 years of supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP Operating Systems.\nBroad knowledge of business functions, including safety, quality, production operations, accounting, inventory management, cost control/profit and loss management, and shipping.\nExceptional problem-solving skills and a results-oriented mindset.\nBroad technical knowledge of product and production methods.\nIf you are a seasoned leader with a track record of success in manufacturing operations, possess a deep understanding of safety and quality standards, and are looking for a new challenge, we encourage you to apply for the Plant Manager position.
